Deuteronomy 10

At that time יהוה said unto me, ‘Hew you two tablets of stone like unto the first, and come up unto Me into the mountain, and make you an ark of wood.

And I will write on the tablets the words that were in the first tablets which you brakest, and you shalt put them in the ark.

And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tablets of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tablets in mine hand.

And He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which יהוה spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly; and יהוה gave them unto me.

And I turned myself and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as יהוה commanded me.

And the children of Yisrael took their journey from Beeroth of the children of Yaakan to Mosera; there Aaron (Aharon) died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered as priest (kohen) in his stead.

From thence they journeyed unto Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Yotbath, a land of rivers of waters.

At that time יהוה separated the tribe of Lewi, to bear the ark of the covenant of יהוה, to stand before יהוה to minister unto Him, and to bless in His name, unto this day.

Wherefore Lewi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; יהוה is his inheritance, according as יהוה your God (Elohim) promised him.

And I stayed in the mountain according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and יהוה hearkened unto me at that time also, and יהוה would not destroy you.

And יהוה said unto me, Arise, take your journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them.’

And now, Yisrael, what doth יהוה your God (Elohim) require of you, but to fear יהוה your God (Elohim), to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve יהוה your God (Elohim) with all your heart and with all your soul,

To keep the commandments of יהוה, and His statutes, which I command you this day for your good?

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is יהוה’s your God (Elohim), the earth also, with all that therein is.

Only יהוה had a delight in your fathers to love them, and He chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

For יהוה your God (Elohim) is 9aSupreme God (Elohei ha-elohim) and 14Supreme Lord (Adonei ha-adonim), the great, the mighty and the awesome God (El), who regardeth not persons, nor taketh bribe.

He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

Love you therefore the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt (Mitsrayim).

You shalt fear יהוה your God (Elohim); Him shalt you serve, and to Him shalt you cleave, and swear by His name.

He is your praise, and He is your God (Elohim), that hath done for you these great and awesome things, which your eyes have seen.

Your fathers went down into Egypt (Mitsrayim) with threescore and ten persons; and now יהוה your hath made you as the stars of heaven for multitude.
