A Song of degrees of Dawid.

1 I was glad when they said unto me, “Let us go into the house of יהוה.”

2 Our feet shall stand within Your gates, O Jerusalem (Yerushalayim).

3 Jerusalem (Yerushalayim) is built as a city that is compact together;

4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of יה (Yah), unto the testimony of Yisrael, to give thanks unto the name of יהוה.

5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of Dawid.

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Yerushalayim): “They shall prosper who love You.

7 Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.”

8 For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”

9 Because of the house of יהוה our God (Elohim) I will seek Your good.
