Deuteronomy 26

“And it shall be, when you come in unto the land which יהוה your God (Elohim) giveth you for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;

That you shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which you shalt bring of your land that יהוה your God (Elohim) giveth you, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which יהוה your God (Elohim) shall choose to place His name there.

And you shalt go unto the priest (kohen) that shall be in those days, and say unto him, ‘I profess this day unto יהוה your God (Elohim), that I am come unto the country which יהוה sware unto our fathers for to give us.’

And the priest (kohen) shall take the basket out of your hand, and set it down before the altar of יהוה your God (Elohim).

And you shalt speak and say before יהוה your God (Elohim): ‘A Syrian (Arammi) ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt (Mitsrayim), and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous.

And the Egyptians (Mitsrayim) evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:

And when we cried unto יהוה God (Elohim) of our fathers, יהוה heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression.

And יהוה brought us forth out of Egypt (Mitsrayim) with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders.

And He hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, “a land that floweth with milk and honey”;

And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which you, O יהוה, have given me. And you shalt set it before יהוה your God (Elohim), and worship before יהוה your God (Elohim).

And you shalt rejoice in every good thing which יהוה your God (Elohim) hath given unto you, and unto your house, you, and the Lewite, and the stranger that is among you.

When you have made an end of tithing all the tithes of your increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and have given it unto the Lewite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within your gates, and be filled;

Then you shalt say before יהוה your God (Elohim), I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Lewite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all Your commandments which You have commanded me: ‘I have not transgressed Your commandments, neither have I forgotten them.

I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead; but I have hearkened to the voice of יהוה my God (Elohim), and have done according to all that You have commanded me.

Look down from Your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless Your people Yisrael, and the land which You have given us, as you swarest unto our fathers, “a land that floweth with milk and honey.”’

This day יהוה your God (Elohim) hath commanded you to do these statutes and judgments: you shalt therefore keep and do them with all your heart, and with all your soul.

You have avouched יהוה this day to be your God (Elohim), and to walk in His ways, and to keep His statutes, and His commandments, and His judgments, and to hearken unto His voice.

And יהוה hath avouched you this day to be His peculiar people, as He hath promised you, and that you shouldest keep all His commandments;

And to make you high above all nations which He hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that you mayest be a holy people unto יהוה your God (Elohim), as He hath spoken.”
