Psalms 84

To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah (Qorach).

How lovely are Your tabernacles, O יהוה of hosts (YHWH Tsevaot)!

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of יהוה; my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God (El chai).

Yea, the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even your altars, O יהוה of hosts (YHWH Tsevaot), my King, and my God (Elohim).

Blessed are they that dwell in Your house; they will be still praising You. Selah.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You; in whose heart are the ways of them.

Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion (Tsiyon) appeareth before God (Elohim).

O יהוה God of hosts (Elohei Tsevaot), hear my prayer; give ear, O God (Elohim) of Jacob (Yaaqov). Selah.

Behold, O God (Elohim) our shield, and look upon the face of Your anointed (mashiach).

For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God (Elohim), than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

For יהוה God (Elohim) is a sun and shield; יהוה will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.

O יהוה of hosts (YHWH Tsevaot), blessed is the man that trusteth in You.
