Deuteronomy 16

“Observe the month of Aviv, and keep the 19Passover (Pesach) unto יהוה your God (Elohim), for in the month of Aviv יהוה your God (Elohim) brought you forth out of Egypt (Mitsrayim) by night.

You shalt therefore sacrifice the 19passover lamb (pesach) unto יהוה your God (Elohim), of the flock and the herd, in the place which יהוה shall choose to place His name there.

You shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt you eat unleaven bread (matstsah) therewith, even the bread of affliction; for you camest forth out of the land of Egypt (Mitsrayim) in haste: that you mayest remember the day when you camest forth out of the land of Egypt (Mitsrayim) all the days of your life.

And there shall be no leavened bread seen with you in all your coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which you sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.

You mayest not sacrifice the passover (pesach) within any of your gates, which יהוה your God (Elohim) giveth you:

But at the place which יהוה your God (Elohim) shall choose to place His name in, there you shalt sacrifice the passover (pesach) at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you camest forth out of Egypt (Mitsrayim).

And you shalt roast and eat it in the place which יהוה your God (Elohim) shall choose, and you shalt turn in the morning, and go unto your tents.

Six days you shalt eat unleaven bread (matstsah); and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to יהוה your God (Elohim); you shalt do no work therein.

Seven weeks shalt you number unto you; begin to number the seven weeks from such time as you beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.

And you shalt keep the 21Feast of Weeks (Chag Shavuot) unto יהוה your God (Elohim) with a tribute of a freewill offering of your hand, which you shalt give unto יהוה your God (Elohim), according as יהוה your God (Elohim) hath blessed you.

And you shalt rejoice before יהוה your God (Elohim), you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Lewite that is within your gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which יהוה your God (Elohim) hath chosen to place His name there.

And you shalt remember that you wast a bondman in Egypt (Mitsrayim), and you shalt observe and do these statutes.

You shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that you have gathered in your corn and your wine;

And you shalt rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Lewite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within your gates.

Seven days shalt you keep a solemn feast unto יהוה your God (Elohim) in the place which יהוה shall choose, because יהוה your God (Elohim) shall bless you in all your increase, and in all the works of your hands, therefore you shalt surely rejoice.

Three times in a year shall all your males appear before יהוה your God (Elohim) in the place which he shall choose; at the 20Feast of Unleavened Bread (Chag HaMatzot), and on the 21Feast of Weeks (Chag Shavuot), and at the 24Feast of Tabernacles (Chag Sukkot); and they shall not appear before יהוה empty.

Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of יהוה your God (Elohim) which He hath given you.

Judges and officers shalt you make you in all your gates, which יהוה your God (Elohim) giveth you, throughout your tribes, and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

You shalt not wrest judgment; you shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift; for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

That which is altogether just shalt you follow, that you mayest live, and inherit the land which יהוה your God (Elohim) giveth you.

You shalt not plant you a grove of any trees near unto the altar of יהוה your God (Elohim), which you shalt make you.

Neither shalt you set you up any image; which יהוה your God (Elohim) hateth.
