A Prayer of Dawid.
Bow down Your ear, O יהוה, hear me; for I am poor and needy.
Preserve my soul, for I am holy; O You my God (Elohim), save Your servant who trusteth in You.
Be merciful unto me, O Lord (Adonai), for I cry unto You daily.
Rejoice the soul of Your servant, for unto You, O Lord (Adonai), do I lift up my soul.
For You, my Lord (Adonai), art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon You.
Give ear, O יהוה, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You wilt answer me.
Among the elohim there is none like unto You, O Lord (Adonai); neither are there any works like unto Your works.
All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord (Adonai); and shall glorify Your name.
For You are great, and doest wondrous things; You are God (Elohim) alone.
Teach me Your way, O יהוה; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.
I will praise You, O Lord (Adonai) my God (Elohim), with all my heart; and I will glorify Your name forevermore.
For great is Your mercy toward me; and You have delivered my soul from the lowest hell (sheol).
O God (Elohim), the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set You before them.
But You, O Lord (Adonai), art a God (Elohim) full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give Your strength unto Your servant, and save the son of Your handmaid.
Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed, because You, יהוה, have holpen me, and comforted me.
